Handwoven in Morocco from white sheep wool, black sheep wool and camel
hair — spun, dyed and woven by hand in our family workshop in the
    High Atlas.

WHY A HANDMADE LIVE-WOOL BLANKET COSTS WHAT IT COSTS

A machine-made blanket takes minutes. This one takes days.

Every stage is done by hand: the wool is gathered from sheep grazing the
mountain pastures, washed, combed and spun into yarn. The black wool is
coloured with natural plant dyes. The yarn is then woven on a traditional
wooden loom, one blanket at a time, by weavers who learned this from
    their mothers.

There is no factory here, no synthetic fibre, no shortcut. What you are
paying for is the hours, the material, and the skill — and honestly, for
a piece made entirely by hand from natural fibres, our prices are already
low for the quality. Mass-produced wool blankets cost less because they
cost less to make. This is not that.

THE MOTIF — 1,400 YEARS OF MEANING

The central diamond is the dune tattoo of the High Atlas Mountains,
woven by Berber families for more than 1,400 years as a mark of FAMILY
and PROTECTION. The arrows either side carry the blessing outward, drawn
exactly as the mountain weavers have always drawn it.

This is not a decorative pattern drawn by a designer last year. It is a
symbol that has travelled down generations. Wearing it or sleeping under
it, you are holding a piece of living heritage.

    THE BENEFITS OF LIVE WOOL

Live wool — wool taken from living sheep — keeps properties that
processed wool loses. It breathes and regulates temperature, so it keeps
you warm in winter without overheating, and comfortable in cooler summer
evenings. Wool is naturally resistant to dust mites and bacteria, and
does not hold odours the way synthetics do. It is soft, weighty and
reassuring in the hand, and it gets softer with every year of use.

We call it a blanket that keeps you healthy as well as warm.

BECAUSE THE WOOL IS NATURALLY DYED, COLOURS SOFTEN AND DEEPEN WITH AGE.
NO TWO DYE BATHS GIVE EXACTLY THE SAME SHADE — THAT VARIATION IS THE
SIGNATURE OF NATURAL COLOUR, NOT A FAULT.

    HOW TO USE IT

    - Bedspread over a duvet — double, queen or king
    - Throw over a sofa, reading chair or bench
    - A layer at the end of the bed
    - A floor piece for a low-traffic spot
    - A wall textile, hung as art
    - A picnic or garden blanket
    - A meditation or yoga blanket
    - A wedding, housewarming or anniversary gift they'll keep forever

SIZES — inches first, centimetres in brackets

    PERSONALISATION — MAKE IT THEIRS

Add a name and we hand-stitch it into the blanket, in the same wool, in
the same tradition. Write the name in the personalisation box and
double-check the spelling — we stitch exactly what you write.

Choose your Berber tattoo motif from the design chart in the photos, and
tell us your colour preference. Custom sizes and custom motifs welcome —
message us and we'll confirm before we start weaving.

Personalised pieces take 2–3 extra days and are final sale.

MADE TO ORDER, SHIPPED FROM MOROCCO

Your blanket is woven after you order. Production takes 1–3 days, then
delivery usually runs 5–8 business days to the US and 4–7 to Europe by
FedEx, with tracking. We ship fast, and we've had customers tell us the
blanket arrived sooner than they expected.

    CARE
Air regularly to refresh the natural fibres. Spot clean with cold water.
For a full wash, cold hand wash or gentle wool cycle, then lay flat to
    dry away from direct sun.

    WHY OUR CUSTOMERS LOVE IT

Because it is real. Because it arrived quickly, wrapped by hand, with a
name stitched into it. Because it is the one thing on the bed that was
made by a person rather than a machine. Because guests ask where it
    came from.

A SMALL FAMILY WORKSHOP IN MOROCCO. Every piece is woven individually,
so slight variation in weave, tone and dimensions is normal and makes
    yours one of a kind.

Ready to make it yours? Choose your size and colour, add a name, and
    we'll start weaving.

    Are your blankets handmade?

Yes. Each blanket is carefully woven by skilled Moroccan artisans using traditional techniques. Small variations may occur, making every piece unique.

    Custom and personalized orders

Our materials depend on the blanket style. We use natural camel wool in white, brown, and light brown from young dromedaries, as well as natural sheep's wool. We also offer wool blended with agave fiber for exceptional softness and a feel similar to organic cotton. Some blankets are made from organic cotton. Please check each listing for its exact materials.

    Custom and personalized orders

We use natural dyes made from flowers, plants, and minerals, including poppy flowers, turmeric, saffron, henna, and indigo and more. We believe natural colors bring each blanket to life and enhance its unique beauty. Colors may vary slightly because every blanket is handmade and naturally dyed.

Why are your blankets 100% natural?

Our blankets are 100% natural because we want to preserve an ancient Moroccan Amazigh weaving tradition that has been passed down for generations. Wool has always been at the heart of our heritage.

Our mission is to share these handcrafted blankets with the world, helping people reconnect with nature, traditional craftsmanship, and the beauty and comfort of natural fibers. Each blanket carries the story of our land, our artisans, and our origins.

What do the symbols on the blankets mean? and How long can a blanket last?

Each woven symbol has a special meaning. Some represent the region or community where the blanket was made, while others carry messages of family love, patience, protection, health, strength, happiness, prosperity, and long life. Certain symbols are also traditionally believed to offer protection from the evil eye. Together, they preserve the stories, values, and heritage of Moroccan Amazigh culture.
How long can a blanket last?
A traditional blanket made from natural wool can last for generations when cared for properly. It is designed to become part of your family heritage - a meaningful piece that carries your story and preserves your memory for future generations.
